Doug Robbins
Head Coach, North Delta Dealers
Coach Doug Robbins is a 1990 graduate of Lafayette High School in Oxford, Mississippi. After graduation, he attended Delta State University where he was a member of the baseball team. As a Statesman, Coach Robbins played for Coach Bill Merchant and Coach Mike Kinnison. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Coach Robbins became a graduate assistant coach for the Statesmen under the direction and leadership of Coach Kinnison.
Currently, Coach Robbins is in his fifth year as the baseball coach at Water Valley High School. While at Water Valley, Coach Robbins has enjoyed three district championships, a north half championship and a state runner-up finish in 2006.
Coach Doug Robbins resides in Oxford, Mississippi, where he lives with his wife, Ruth Ann, and their 2 children, Madison (9), and Easton (7).

John Walker
Assistant Coach, North Delta Dealers
John Walker just completed his second season as a graduate assistant coach on Mike Kinnison’s staff at Delta State University.
Walker, a 2002 graduate of Delta State with a bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation, began his coaching career in 2003 at Water Valley High School as the assistant varsity baseball coach. During the 2004 season, he served as the interim head coach while leading Water Valley to the Regional Championship game. As an assistant during the 2005-2007 seasons, Walker helped guide the Blue Devils to three consecutive Region Championships. In 2006, Water Valley finished the season with a 3A State Championship Game berth.
During his four years at Water Valley High School, Walker proved to be an asset in the classroom as well, teaching 10th Grade World History, 8th Grade United States History, Psychology and Sociology.
Walker is pursuing a master’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He is single and resides in Cleveland.
