MSU, Memphis Players Join BNA Bank Cotton States League

Trey Johnson from Mississippi State University and John Jordan from the University of Memphis have joined the BNA Bank Cotton States League as play nears the mid-season mark.  Johnson played this past weekend for the Tupelo Thunder and will continue for Coach Buddy Hall's club.  Jordan may see his first action tonight as he joins Coach Chris Basil's Tallahatchie Rascals.

Johnson is an outfielder/left-handed pitcher from Tyler, Texas.  He joined Coach John Cohen's Bulldogs from Blinn CC last year and will be a senior in 2011. 

Jordan is a middle infielder/outfielder from Rossville, Tennessee, and is entering his second year with the Tigers.  Jordan is a graduate of Collierville (TN) High School.
