Sonic League Championship Brackets Announced

The brackets for the Sonic League Championship series are set as the Rascals will take on the Thunder at 11:00 am Saturday in one semi-final game and the Jets will take on the Dealers in the other semi-final at 1:30. The Championship game will immediately follow at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon with the Van Atkins Game of the Week being broadcast on ESPN Radio, 96.3.

Jets Win, Challenge for 1st Place

Thursday's 4-0 win over the North Delta Dealers propelled the Golden Triangle Jets into a tight race for first place as we play the final weekend of regularly scheduled games.

Rain...and then More Rain

All Cotton States games are cancelled for Saturday. The fields were prepped and ready until it showered again this morning.

Jets and Tribe tomorrow in New Hope and then Dealers and Rascals Monday in New Albany.

The BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League will be playing this Sunday at the New Hope High School field. The league is excited about having the opportunity to to travel to this baseball hotbed and allow the local fans to come and experience the excitement of the league.

Joel Gafford Named Ripley HS Head Coach

Ripley High School announced the hiring of Joel Gafford as the Tigers' new head baseball coach. Gafford is an assistant for the BNA Bank CSBL Tippah County Tribe.

An exciting weekend lies ahead for the players, families, and fans of the BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League. Our quadruple-header on Saturday at New Albany will be followed by fireworks (provided by Sonic) and Sunday's double-header will be played at Fulton City Park.

Sonic Fireworks Night Scheduled for July 10th

In conjunction with Mississippi Select Baseball and their USSSA All-Star activities being held at the New Albany Sportsplex July 9-10, the Sonic Fireworks Night has been scheduled for July 10th following the 6:30 7-inning match-up between the Dealers and the Rascals.

MSU, Memphis Players Join BNA Bank Cotton States League

Trey Johnson from Mississippi State University and John Jordan from the University of Memphis have joined the BNA Bank Cotton States League as play nears the mid-season mark. Johnson played this past weekend for the Tupelo Thunder and will continue for Coach Buddy Hall's club. Jordan may see his first action tonight as he joins Coach Chris Basil's Tallahatchie Rascals.

'Exhibition' Games To Be Held In Fulton, New Hope

To promote future expansion of the BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League, the CSBL has announced that Sunday afternoon games on July 11 and on July 18 will be held at Itawamba AHS Field in Fulton, Mississippi, and New Hope HS Field in New Hope, Mississippi, respectively.

USSSA State Tournament Forces CSBL Schedule Changes

The 14U USSSA State Championships will be played in New Albany Thursday, June 24, through Saturday, June 26. This event has forced the reschedule of BNA Bank CSBL games originally to be held on Saturday, June 26.
